About Nicole Ulrich, M.D.
Dr. Nicole Ulrich is an experienced reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist who joined the Fertility Institute in 2025. In addition to being dedicated to helping patients achieve their family-building goals, Dr. Ulrich is also the Director of Advocacy for The Fertility Institute.
She completed her undergraduate and medical studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. She then specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility through fellowship training at the University of Michigan, where she conducted extensive research in infertility.
Her dedication to the field is evident in her professional achievements, including:
- Outstanding Abstract Award, Endocrine Society Annual Meeting
- Teaching Award, Ochsner Clinic Foundation
- Selected for the inaugural cohort of PRIMED (Preparing Experts in Reproductive Medicine to Engage Decisionmakers) scholars through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine
After fellowship, she returned to New Orleans to provide infertility care to the gulf south region. Dr. Ulrich is dedicated to using her role to educate future women’s health providers and advocate for reproductive justice and equitable access to care. In her capacity as director of advocacy, she plans to continue to work toward eliminating the stigmas around infertility treatment and improving equity and access to care in reproductive medicine.

Dr. Ulrich takes an individualized and thoughtful approach to treatment, focusing on each patient’s unique needs and goals. She aims to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while empowering patients through every step of their fertility journey.
As every patient and couple is unique, she believes in treating the whole person—not just their test results—by fostering open communication and creating a personalized plan that aligns with the patient’s values and vision for building their family.
