Dr. Sartor shares her thoughts on the baby bust, the importance of a positive patient rapport and women in the workforce
Growing up with a father in the medical field, Dr. Sissy Sartor was proud to follow in his footsteps, pursuing a subspecialty that set her apart and set her heart on fire. She discusses the amazing scientific advances she has seen in her more than 30 years as a fertility expert and tackles COVID-19’s affect on birth rates in America.
Dr. Sartor also speaks to some difficulties and benefits of being a working woman, as well as how she has found work-life balance during the pandemic. Although she is careful to separate her home life from her clinic hours, she still ensures she is creating long-lasting and meaningful connections with her fertility patients.
“I’m a lucky woman. I’ve been in a subspecialty that I really love. It has been a gift for me, and I think I have been able to help many patients.” – Dr. Sissy Sartor
