About Erin Cheneval

Erin Cheneval chose this field of medicine because of her passion for women’s health and her interest in fertility. As a former labor and delivery nurse for most of her career prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she’s had the pleasure of being involved in the very end of her patients’ pregnancies, but now she’s excited to change course. “I am invested in being on the front side of the process,” she says. She looks forward to helping patients begin their fertility journey.

Erin loves many aspects of her job as an advanced practice provider (APP), but most of all seeing families trust her as their provider throughout a very intimate and personal care experience. “The outcomes in fertility,” she says, “whether happy or sad, make patients stronger than when they first walked into the fertility process.”

Erin is a board-certified nurse practitioner with areas of focus in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and obesity, diminished ovarian reserve, hormone imbalances and the implementation of lifestyle changes to aid fertility. In her work, she also focuses on inclusive care for all types of families, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.

She stands out from other providers in her field through her easy accessibility to her patients and a multifaceted approach to patient treatment. She acknowledges that physicians and nurse practitioners have the same goal to provide patients with the very best care, but their methods can differentiate. In addition to the medical model, she uses a more holistic model, “focusing not just on medication but also lifestyle changes and community resources available to help provide patients with care.”

Approach to treatment

Erin Cheneval brings a different aspect of care to her patients’ journeys by aiming to look at the whole picture and seeing how she can help medically as well as holistically.

“This process requires the cooperation of multiple disciplines and requires teamwork from different specialties. Seeing how every specialty comes together to help the patient is amazing.”
