The state of Louisiana has added pregnant women to the list of individuals eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Though the research is limited, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and healthcare providers say that the side effects for pregnant patients are less severe than the effects of getting the virus. Please read our vaccine & pregnancy FAQ for more information.
